About Pan Dumpling House

Located at 490 Hidden Valley Pkwy Ste 101, Norco, CA 92860, Pan Dumpling House operates as a chinese restaurant serving Norco in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under restaurant, dumpling restaurant, ramen restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amโ€“9 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (951) 987-0100. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is pandumplinghouse.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 531 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Norco and suggests consistent service.

My boyfriend, a friend, and I arrived here around 12 PM on a Monday. There were several open tables. Since we were in a rush, we ordered quickly. We understood that cooked dishes take time, so we quickly ate the cold appetizers that arrived first.Because of an urgent matter, I had to leave early with our friend. I paid the bill immediately, left a standard 15% tip, and requested the rest of our food to be packed to-go. My boyfriend stayed at the table to wait for the takeout and for me to pick him up. The drive took me about 20 minutes round trip. The entire time from when we first walked in to when I picked up my boyfriend was only 45 minutesโ€”a completely normal dining duration. However, while waiting, the manager repeatedly harassed and tried to kick my boyfriend out, asking him what he was still waiting for. The manager even pointed at his table in front of other waiting customers and stared him down maliciously. It was 100ยฐF outside. My boyfriend was a paying customer waiting for food we already paid and tipped for. It is the restaurant's job to manage wait times, not to bully and chase away guests who have barely been there. Unacceptable and completely absurd.

I ordered the xiao long bao, jasmine grapefruit tea, chicken and corn dumplings, veggie fried rice and chow main, and salt and pepper wings. The chicken dumpling were just okay but the xiao long bao was phenomenal, better than Din Tai Fung. The salt and pepper wi bf were juicy and perfectly seasoned, a personal favorite of mine from this dining experience. The fried rice and chow main were good but nothing mind blowing. The jasmine grapefruit tea was delectable, it was a great balance of sweetness, you also could taste the freshness of the grapefruit. The seating was spacious and clean. The time I went (3:30) was extremely busy. The waiters were fast and the food was hot. My only problem with the service is that it is very difficult to hear what the waiter is saying. The food is worth the price, I plan to come back to this Norco gem.

I was surprised by how big the portions are, like you could buy a plate of rice or noodles and easily share it with 4 people, which justifies the price since it is a little expensive. I spent around $77 including tip which was 2 drinks, an appetizer, and 3 main plates. Actually, they don't have just a side of fried rice, so we were forced to buy it as a main plate. Everything tastes good. I just finished my leftovers and I'm already craving the noodles since they were so soft. The restaurant is clean and modern with big windows and an outdoor patio. If it weren't so hot (We came on a 100F day) it looked like a nice place to eat under the umbrellas. I accidentally spilled a jar of hot sauce which for some reason had a loose removable lid and one of the waitresses was quick to clean it up for us. She was nice about it, too, like she could've easily copped an attitude with us about it, but didn't. A man next to us said he accidentally did the same thing which makes me think they need to find a different container for that sauce. There's a huge parking lot, so that wasn't a problem. However, the area directly in front of the restaurant and the other shops near it were sectioned off

We order Xiao Long Bao and it was delicious. The Mongolian beef had a good flavor except the meat needs to be a bit softer and juicy. Fast service and good experience

My friend recommended Pan Dumplings House, and Iโ€™ve been craving dumplings for so long. Iโ€™m really glad I tried it. My favorite was simple: I had the dumplings with chili oil, and it definitely satisfied my craving. The staff were really nice, and I also like that the dumplings and other dishes are made fresh.
